With hot summers, Kayaking, Tubing, and Canoeing abound a home on the water is a must—and there’s plenty of land-based fun to be had, too.  With an abundance of state land for hunting and excellent fishing just steps from your door, there are plenty of reasons to stay in all seasons.  With room to bring all your family and friends, renting this home really will make a stay to remember.

Convenient and Cozy Up North Experience
The home is as described, very spacious and we had plenty of room with 10 adults for New Years Eve 2022. The open floor plan on the main level allowed for multiple activities to take place and everyone to mingle comfortably. The woodburning stove provided additional warmth and ambiance on the main level. Surely would be a fun summer excursion with the easy river access just out the back doors! Overall a pleasant UpNorth MI getaway for a short drive.

Great time, great friends, great memories
We stayed at this property for my husbands 50th birthday with a few other couples. The weather was perfect and we were able to use the tubes and kayaks provided. Wonderful time and the neighbors were super sweet as well.

Weekend Retreat
This property was amazing for our group. We had a beautiful long weekend and it all started the moment we arrived. The check in was smooth and simple, the house provided plenty of beds and space for our group to relax by the fire, soak in the river or hangout in the kitchen area. It was a great overall experience and highly recommend this location for any group of friends or families looking for an northern michigan getaway on the rifle river.

Family vacation
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect. We loved getting to walk right down to the river and float! The house was very spacious for our large family, and the owner was always responsive to questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!
