The location was amazing, the condo was very clean. However the toilet in the main bedroom was awkward and was not attached to the floor well. The main bed was a bit uncomfortable and so was the couch. The back door that slid open was a bit tricky on the lock and was hard to lock and unlock at times. It was a good size for what we needed!

Romar Beach Condo

Our stay at your condo was great! The pool was nice and had good shade from the building which was nice at times!! The pool has clean bathrooms which was a huge plus for having kiddos! The boardwalk was nice and super close to the beach! The condo was beach side and it was perfect! Only thing needing an upgrade was the sofa/sofa pullout and primary bedroom mattress. Both very springy mattresses. Pull out wouldn’t lay flat with someone laying on it; it would tilt downward into the sofa. It had the be elevated at the head of bed to work properly. Overall, wonderful stay! We would definitely come back to this condo!

Great spot on a budget!

We stayed here while at a local music festival. This building is older but the unit was clean and cared for. We loved the beach access, but would’ve loved to have beach chairs available for use in the condo. The pool was clean and heated. We mostly used the condo for showers and sleep only, and it fit our needs and budget perfectly.

Volleyball Tourney Trip

Simple, little condo in a great location. Easy access to the beach and minutes from great restaurants. Condo was clean and tidy when we arrived and also included covered parking. We would visit again.

Love the location

This was our 4th time staying at the Romar building and the 4th different condo. This location is absolutely awesome for a quality visit to Orange Beach. The condo was adequate if nothing else. It had what a beach condo should have. Everything worked as it should. Check in/Check out was a breeze. Good communication from the owner.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just what I was looking for in size and location. Perfect location on the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Checking in and out process was hassel free.

Loved it!

My friend and I were looking for an affordable getaway that was beachfront. We thought it wasn't possible but then we found THIS. Beachfront, free parking and a great condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect inside and out.

Overall good time

Condo was neat and clean and had all the necessities for a great week. The refrigerator leaked at times causing a puddle on the floor. The spare bedroom could use some better blinds/shades as the lights on the hallways outside brighten up the room. We covered the blinds with a blanket and this helped. Overall it was a great stay.

Very pleased!

My family of 5 loved it here! The condo is stocked with everything you would need to stay as if you are home. Its in a great location..and very family friendly environment. Our host was easily accessible from start to finish of stay. We would definitely recommend to others and stay here again!

Nice stay could use some updating

Overall very pleased with property. Great communication with property owner and everything was as described. It is an older unit/property and some updating would be nice but would still stay here again. Mosy issues are small and cosmetic, headboard not attached to bed, troubles getting into door with the lock. Front door also seems thin as you can see the sun shinning through the thin wood on the door. Thank you for the accommodations!

Orange Beach 2023

The condo was clean and available to us on time (3 pm check in) We enjoyed the proximity to the beach We did not use the pool, as we are beach fans Thank you !! We did have quite a bit of rain our first two days there and the parking lot was flooded, but it did not cause us any trouble. The elevator flooded, but was addressed by the management and we just used the stairs

Girls vacation June 2023

Not as we expected. Refrigerator leaked….had to put numerous towels down. Dishwasher had standing water at the bottom which stunk. Ran it to try to get rid of gross water and it leaked all over floor! More towels needed! 5 days later a new one was installed…we left the next day. Hand washed dishes all week . Was listed as ocean view…only if you were a giraffe! Called and spoke to owner…he was already aware of all the problems including no dead bolt. Blue painters tape over dead bolt We did have a great week. Love Orange Beach!

Stay elsewhere

This is the worst property rental experience in my life. I would not let my friends use this for free if I owned it: 1. The main en-suite bath is cracked. It has clearly been cracked a long time as the crack is black and about 16" long, and the plug has been removed so you can't bath. 2. The dishwasher did not work. It leaked water and did not pump out the water so we had to wash everything by hand. Maybe it happened to break as we arrived, but keep reading, and it was not fixed (nor was fixing attempted) before we left 3. The fridge leaked water on the floor from somewhere underneath. It was not fixed (nor was fixing attempted) before we left 4. The main en suite toilet broke while we were there and was not fixed before we left. It did initially work, but the flapper valve perished and broke loose. Other noticeably poor aspects include: 4 bowls for 4 people. So should these be washed after every meal? The cutlery looked like a job lot of from th dollar store. it certainly was not a set of anything. I never realized steel cutlery could be purchased so thin and flimsy that it bent when you looked at it. Two doors in the unit cannot close and stay shut, even if you took a sledgehammer to them. The second bedroom door only shuts (or opens) with some firm encouragement. It has clearly done this for some time as the door is coming apart where it is catching on the jam. And the property manager lives on the other side of the state....

Lovely stay

We love the Orange Beach area and the proximity to the State Park and the Hugh Branyon Backcountry Trail system. The condo was perfect for walks through nature in the mornings and long days at the beach!
