“Kitchen, main living level, and deck were all great spaces. Both bedrooms are upstairs. We could hear guests in the adjoining unit during our stay. Very nice view from the hilltop.”

“Beautiful location, peaceful and surprisingly very quiet, couldn't hear any traffic from the city below. I loved watching and listening to the visiting hummingbird out by the fire pit. Shower ran out of hot water about 4 minutes in, but if you take a European shower it works fine. Pretty breezy up on the hill during our stay. Loved how close it was to the wineries down the road; we visited a couple of them, felt like we were in Italy. Overall, we would definitely come back to the Hilltop...

“Excellent communication and easy check-in and check-out. The bungalow is tasteful decorated and had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway. Location was great with restaurants, coffee shops, and a small market in walking distance. You can even walk to downtown Carlsbad Village from the place. The minor downside is that it is off of Coast Highway which can be busy and loud so it was not so enjoyable for the outdoor space and keeping windows open at night. I would still consider staying...

“Our stay at Erica and Paul’s place was great! The house was very clean and cozy. I loved the plants especially in the sun room. Our little daughter enjoyed the backyard, games, books and the treehouse. Great hosts! They made us feel so welcomed.”

“Lots of parking in front of house in quiet neighborhood. Hosts are very sweet and helpful. Place is cozy but very clean with lots of linens, towels etc. We enjoyed it and can't wait to stay again.”
