"This property is welcoming, updated, very clean and very comfortable. Although we were there on a rainy weekend, the front porch swing was a favorite spot for relaxation. The kitchen is well-stocked with pans, dishes, spices, coffee and snacks. There are board games, movies as well as a cute toddler table and toys. There is a generous private parking area. "We were going to an evening event at Stratford Hall (about 25 min away). There is so much history in the area. Beautiful spot on the river. The screened in porch was the bomb! Huge. So relaxing. "The room my friend and I stayed in was really nice, clean and updated, parking was no problem, a/c worked great. We had everything we needed for the weekend. The 2 rooms on the end gives u somewhat of a nice view of the ocean (200 & 201) The pool was great and enjoyed meeting a lot of people that were staying at the hotel, at the pool. The front desk staff and I am assuming was the owners were awesome, very accommodating, friendly, made sure u were taken care of immediately if there was a need. I would recommend staying here with your visit to Colinial Beach."
