“This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used……

“Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The homes were clean and stocked with what you need. Beds were relaxing. Sleeping upstairs is……

“The furniture in the room was worn out. The door to the bathroom was broken. The threshold into the bathroom had bare metal rails that could cut bare feet, the toilet was wobbly, the floors were dirty and the shower controls were hanging off the wall…I did not use the shower because of the poor shape the bathroom was in. All of the items were communicated to the front desk staff. The only redeeming aspect to the room was clean linens. I will never stay there again.”

“Private, cozy place that’s comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. Nice small town area but easy access to Hamburg, Orchard Park, and Buffalo. ”

“The hotel was great! Very comfortable and thoughtful with a lot of details. The breakfast was good, and they provided afternoon cookies. They had a cool little library room you could relax in. It was walking distance to the cute Main Street in East Aurora. We would stay again.”

“The hotel lobby, rooms, stairways and everything else were very clean. The breakfast bar is okay- there was bagels, bread and pastries. 2 kinds of cereal. Packaged oatmeal, yogurt, apples and a waffle machine. There were eggs and sausage each morning we were there and those were not that great but overall it was okay. Good coffee! The pool room was clean and warm but the actual pool is COLD. The room did have AC that worked well! The bathroom fan was squeaking which was more of an annoyance than……

“There isnt anyone working at the front desk, seems to be no staff on site but they are accessible by phone/text. Only 6 parking spots for all of the hotel. We had to park on the street since its first come first serve ”

“You get what you pay for. The non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray, and I was greeted by a spider on my pillow. I ended up sleeping fully clothed because I wasn’t comfortable in the room. For the small difference in price, I’d recommend spending the extra $30 and staying at a better hotel.”

“Inn was quiet and staff did seem to want to help , however the White fitted bed sheet appeared stained with old sweat marks . Bed cover also dirty around some of the edges. Not all rooms had a microwave or fridge. Soap dispenser to wash hands did not work.”
