“Owner was extremely nice and accommodating. We had expected to have dinner there but they were not serving.”

“Perfect location for our family.”

“This is just the cutest camp close to all the amenities Speculator has to offer! The beds were comfy, great water pressure so nice showers, and the camp was cool with the air conditioning even in the unseasonably warm temperatures the ADK was experiencing the week we were there. The only things on my wish list were a microwave and a little more storage for food (no pantry or empty shelves) and any type of closet for clothes! But these little teeny things would not deter me from renting this home……

“Perfect size for a couple. Very clean, good amenities.”

“This house looks and feels just like the pictures. Nice kitchen and great dinner table for our group. This area of NY is captivating with all the lakes and wilderness for riding a motorcycle and im sure fishing and hiking. When at this house you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Then pull out of the driveway take a left go 500 yes and everything you need. Charlie John's has everything you need at a very reasonable price and the Mrg delivered our groceries to the house because we were……

“It was a great place.”

“Our stay was excellent!”

“The first disappointment was how close by the road was.It makes sense for an old hotel, but I found the constant noise and traffic unpleasant and certainly for sitting on the verandah. Also no breakfast is served which is mentioned on website though it definitely was not happening. And lastly I found it tacky to demand a dollar each for drinks in the beverage area.If it costs that much they could incorporate it in the room charge. It just seems unwelcoming”

“Clean, new, and beautiful location.”

“Very nice, cabin. I found it very reasonable and efficient for a weekend adventure in the Adirondacks!!”

“The property served our needs for a one night stay in Caroga Lake. Finding the place was a bit of a nightmare. We had no wireless service in the area and the host did not provide very good directions. As we had no cell phone service, we could not call the host. We ended up going to the pist office and we were fortunate that a gentleman who was picking up his mail helped direct us to the unit otherwise we would have never found it. The unit was a bit rustic for my wife’s taste. Also, there were……

“Nice room”

“good”

“Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. ”

“Super comfy bed. Great room with fan and nice windows. Private clean ensuring wet asked for. One thing I would recommend is to bring cone coffee filters for small Mr. Coffee coffee maker. They provided “sachets” but were brought our own coffee and needed to use make shift filter from napkins. Not a big deal. Very responsive hosts! We’ll definitely be back next summer! And probably stay a full week also!”
