“This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes……

“I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. We walked around the hotel……

“The apartment itself was excellent: very clean, spacious, and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, with essentials like washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, plus tea, coffee, salt, and pepper provided. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the accommodation. We arrived mid-afternoon to find reception unattended and never found staff there despite returning several times before it closed at 8pm. There were people in the staff area, but……

“We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.”

“Good experience to stay in a hotel which has more than a century, great breakfast that was served by the waiter, could choose more than 1 set of the breakfast The hotel is facing at lake Bled, quite chilled when you dine in the restaurant, but not very recommended to have the 4-course fine dining as it is expensive, only go with the free breakfast is enough ”

“The surrounding area is very beautiful and the hotel looks very nice inside and outside. Bohinj is a lot nicer than Bled. Our room was a decent size. However, it was let down by a lack of practicality. E.g, there’s insufficient wardrobe and drawer space for two guests. There’s nowhere to open and store your luggage. In the bathroom, there aren’t any shelves or places to put your toiletries and no hooks to hang towels. They don’t have proper air conditioning, so I expect it gets extremely hot……

“We had a great one night stay here. The property is beautiful and suite was very clean and comfortable. The owner was lovely and provided great restaurant recommendations. We wished we could’ve stayed longer but a wonderful place to stay if you find yourself in the area.”

“Staff, room, and restaurant were amazing. Great communication. Easy check in. Beautiful/comfortable room. All good was well labeled. They even made me a gluten free breakfast to go. I would highly recommend for people with food allergies.”

“Nous avons passé 2 belles nuits dans cet appartement. Il est bien situé pour faire le chemin historique de Kobarid. Décoration épurée et moderne. Agréable d'avoir accès à une cuisinette. Appartement lumineux avec ses puits de lumière. Possible de relaxer dans le bain à remous après une longue journée de marche (ou vélo). Je recommande.”
