“This place is really special, and 1 night is definitely not long enough. We arrived late in the afternoon to a warm welcome and a refreshing drink on the deck - the views are breathtaking. The lodges are so pretty, embroidered with the birds found on the reservoir with sequins and a skylight to the stars. Even the bath boasts the same mesmerising views. We went for a walk for sundowners with a guide, learning about the wildlife & conservation, and were rewarded with a stunning sunset. The food……

“I visited Dhora with my wife for a one-night getaway and our experience was simply outstanding. The resort itself is breathtaking; the owners/hosts are an amazing couple; and the area is ethereal. Glamping here was quite different from glamping in other places because the owners have taken extra care to ensure maximum privacy (for instance, each tent is well separated from its neighbors) and complete unison with the surrounding ecology, which has been left undisturbed and enriched. “We looked forward to this trip. The people are nice and the property situated well. They had a camal safari, local entertainment and then dinner. With only 3 families among 18 camps, we felt a bit empty. A larger group would have made this a better experience. Weather, the location and the experience for one night is worth.”

“The staff was helpful but the facility sucks. These were touted as luxury tents with attached toilet and bath. The toilet was non-functional. Right there this facility can only get a 0 on any rating scale from me. The linen was old and had not been changed. Imagine sleeping in a luxury tent on linen that has not been replaced. The tent itself was very dusty. The evening cultural program was nice. The ambience was decent. And as I said some of the staff was trying to be helpful within the limits……
