“This was my first time here. We were visiting from Tennessee. The cabins were clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and quick. The pools are nice, big and clean. There are plenty of activities to do at no extra cost. It was nice to have dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels provided in the cabin. We definitely are coming back for a longer stay! ”

“We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.”

“The cabin was beautifully decorated and had every amenity imaginable. The sauna and the fishing pier were a huge hit with our family. We relaxed in the covered porch drinking our coffee in the mornings and hiked in the nearby trails; A perfect family stay. We will be back! ”

“This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay”

“For our group, Terry’s Run Getaway layout was perfect. A nice big common area for meals and activities, as well as secluded areas to retreat to for some quiet personal time. The games and water sports equipment available resulted in creating fond memories of our family’s stay on Lake Anna.”

It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. “The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional. This is a wonderful place for a getaway. The pools were very clean and well maintained. Check in was fast and easy. The concierge……
