“Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line ”

“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign.
I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. The bathroom was fine and the tea/coffee making facilities were...

“Had a lovely stay here the room was fabulous the bed was so comfy we stayed in the wild horse room it had a huge bathroom with bath and walk in shower and the toilet was separated from the bathroom the staff are friendly and nothings to much trouble
Great little touches like fresh milk and homemade cookies which were delicious ”
