“Was misleading no bedrooms only bed was a boneless sofa bed”

“Dirty bathroom. Black curly hair scattered in the tub. Took pics. Found cleaning supplies to clean before use. Bed had sheets which had been slept on. Dark longer hair. Took pics. Wrinkled. Changed the sheets with worn sheets I found. Old dirty single sock under bed and visible. Old stained rough towel to use when bathing. Needed washcloths and finally found in a basket in front hall piled together. Wanted to make coffee. Old used coffee bags opened with expired dates. Using coffee opened anyway...

The loft itself was lovely and clean; we truly got to experience Detroit, along with the fun amenities like a record player and dart board, which were both new to our children. We had fun exploring the impressive art offered throughout the building, too. Thank you for enhancing our fantastic Detroit experience!”

“Large, spacious loft apartment in a neighbourhood close to Downtown, Riverfront and Huntington Place. Free parking was very convenient. And the apartment building is very easy to find. There are nice cafes and pubs in Corktown within walking distance. Easy access to the bus station. It worked very well for me.”

It took me about ten minutes just to figure out how to get into the house, and the street felt unsafe, with rundown buildings and broken windows. The room was on the ground floor facing the street, and pedestrians could see right through a gap between the window and the curtain, directly at the bed. “I am guessing that this apt is a reno in this building. For the positives, the beds were comfortable and the living area was air conditioned and comfortable. The unit was nicely decorated with a theme throughout. However, there was NO ac in the bedrooms though and no windows so they were basically hot boxes. The building needs some work. The parking area had alot of broken glass. The hallway had discarded ac units in the hallway and many apts had doors open to help circulate air. Not...

“We spent the weekend in Detroit for our anniversary and went to see the Tigers, Red Wings, and the Lions. The apartment was located close enough for us to not use our car the whole weekend. We got a lot of steps in, but it was doable and we knew we could use public transit if needed. It was clean and comfortable and fairly quiet (we live in a city, so we are used to some noise) since it wasn't at the front of the building.”
