Farm stay close to Colorado Springs! Pine trees, fresh air, goats and chickens!

10/10 Excellent

"Great dog-friendly place to stay. I was in the area to judge dog trials and let the local club in falcon about the property so they can pass the info on to others attending future events. Super affordable and my host Marian was very welcoming."

Hilltop Ranch Style Home with Gorgeous View for Big Groups, Retreats, Events OK

8/10 Good

"I want to begin by emphasizing the rental, overall, was very good. It is roomy, comfy & clean. The owner communicates well & promptly. We had a good time. However there are several things that need to be addressed to make the property a 5-star. 1) The listing says there is A/C, but there is only a window unit in one room. It was uncomfortably warm the whole time, including at night. We had to sleep with the ceiling fans on and windows open; unfortunately some rooms had screens with holes which allowed bugs in. 2) The listing also says there is a dish washer. Yes, there is one, but there is a label on it that says it doesn't work. The label appears to have been there for some time, but the listing still says it's there. 3) Both mornings when we woke up, we found mouse droppings on kitchen counters and the stove. The property is in the country, so there is a reason, but it's still disgusting. 4) The listing mentions pool and foosball tables. There were no balls for foosball, and only one functioning pool cue. 5) There is a large concrete patio with riding toys for kids. The kids loved it, but around the edges there are bolts sticking out of the conrete every few feet, which, if someone fell on them, could cause some serious injuries. I repeat, overall it was a good experience, but these issues made the experience good rather than great. It would be nice if the owner would spend a little money and take care of some of these issues."

Stunning Calhan Home w/ Indoor Pool!

10/10 Excellent

"We had an amazing stay at the J & B Ranch for our family Christmas reunion, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The home had every amenity we could have asked for—and more—making it feel just like home from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was especially well stocked with appliances, which made hosting our family incredibly convenient. The home is very spacious with a chic, stylish feel while still keeping those beautiful ranch vibes. It was the perfect space for a large family gathering. The heated pool was a huge highlight, and we loved that all the pool essentials were provided, it made everything so easy and enjoyable.Check-in and check-out were seamless and stress-free. Kristen, our host, was extremely responsive and made the entire process simple and easy from start to finish. This is a truly lovely home, and we will absolutely be returning. We had many people asking where we were staying and requesting the link, so we’re hoping 2026 is filled with bookings for you and your family. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home!"
