Charming 1892 Log Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains foothills

This authentic fully furnished cabin includes a full kitchen, full bath, living area and bedroom with adjoining space that includes a futon. The bedroom features a queen size bed and the futon folds out to a full size bed. All living spaces are on the main level. Linens are provided.

Our focus at The Preserve at Maple Creek is on relaxation and reconnecting with nature. During your stay enjoy private access to multiple trails from mild to moderate difficulty, a working bell tower, walkable labyrinth pathway, creeks, multiple benches, and miles of forest land. We offer wifi access on the property. A Smart TV is provided with limited channels and private satellite internet service. If desired, Dish TV is available at The Farmhouse common area next door for guests to enjoy.

If you choose to bring your pet, please understand there is an additional required pet cleaning fee. Failure to pay the fee could result in additional charges.

Within a short drive, you can visit Chimney Rock State Park, Chimney Rock Village, the International Equestrian Center, Lake Lure, South Mountain State Park and multiple vineyards.

Southern hospitality at its best!

We travel with 2 large dogs and are currently builidng our home in the area. This location is just perfect and the grounds are just enchanting at night. The fact that our boys are welcome is the cherry on top!!!

Great place for TIEC

Amazing!

We were here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful scenery and quiet country atmosphere. We will definitely be back to visit again.

True Serenity!

The Log Cabin and the Preserve are so peaceful. The walking trails are delightful as well. I’ve never felt so at home and at peace. Highly recommend staying here. Laura and Steve are fabulous hosts!

What a wonderful cabin, grounds, trails and very friendly owners. We LOVED everything about our stay and our dogs loved it just as much! We will for sure be back! The glass chapel was so cool, maybe I see renewing our vows!

Very nice stay

It was very nice. The cabin was beautiful and even seemed larger than the pictures online. The grounds were beautifully kept and very peaceful and quiet. We loved hiking the extensive private trails. The hosts live on the property and are very nice and helpful but not overbearing. The only thing that was not expected was the cabin is close to the hosts house, which didn't bother us, but we did not expect based off of the online pictures.

Cool cabin in the woods

The cabin was clean, smelled fresh and had everything we needed. Internet was not great and there is minimal TV reception, but we did not miss it. Friendly, helpful owners and the cabin is convenient to the Thermal Belt Bike Trail and town.

Beautiful!

The Barn Cabin was beautiful and comfortable for me, my husband, and two girls. We enjoyed exploring the property as well and the glass chapel is beautiful, a must see. Laura and Steve are great hosts . Check in was a breeze and they recommended a great Mexican restaurant Don Ramons.

Remote exceptional getaway

Had an amazing stay in this peacefully quiet Barn cabin. Great place to kick back and enjoy nice wide trails, creek, porch time or fire under the stars. Steve and Laura were great hosts. Enjoyed the personal attention and history from Steve around the campfire. We would recommend The Preserve at Maple Creek’s Barn cabin to anyone!

Peaceful and restful cabin.

We enjoyed our time in your cabin. My wife worked on her quilt while I relaxed on the front porch and read. My dog and I also explored the many trails. We made a day trip to the Biltmore and we grilled nearly every evening. Just what we needed.

Barn Cabin in peaceful countryside

Beautiful, clean historic barn cabin. Peaceful and serene countryside. Steve and Laura were great hosts, leaving the lights on for my late arrival. Pets are allowed. Check in & check out were a breeze. Highly recommend Steve, Laura, and their barn cabin.
