“Family of 5 with 3 college age kids. This property was just as advertised. It is clean and simple but nice. Property has 2studio apartments and a rooftop terrace. No hammocks as in pics. The 3 kids took the downstairs floor with two beds and my husband and I took the second floor. No air conditioning but not needed with the ceiling fans and screened windows opened. Incredible views of the volcano and lake. The porches are great. No tv so we brought a couple of games and played theses in the……

“We had a great stay with 4 guests. The property is about an easy 10-15 minute drive from La fortuna. We found the layout of the home to be very enjoyable. The host was very accommodating with some last minute scheduling changes we had due to issues with our flight. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area. ”

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……

“What an amazing house! The views of Arenal are so breathtaking that it’s hard to capture in words. The house is stunning and is fully equipped with high end touches. Fresh flowers were in the kitchen and bathroom making it feel like a luxury hotel. The host took great care to get us situated and is so kind that we felt comfortable from the start. It’s a spectacular property and was truly a place we will never forget.”
