“Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. ”

“First the 12 th century house in the listing was the reason I booked. I arrived to find this to be across the street. Not at all reflective downright deceptive. And then I found the apartment was on the second floor accessed by a narrow circular staircase. This needs to be in the listing.
