“We loved the Ecolodge de Simal. It's really off the beaten track (quite literally so), but once you get there, the location is wonderful: right on the water. We were there for three nights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and tasty; the free activities (like a excursion en pirogue) was wonderful; the pool is chlorinated and clean; the rooms are rustic with open air bathrooms and toilets, but comfortable; the housekeeping good; the bar/restaurant staff friendly. It's not a "luxury"...

“This was a rustic lodge on an island off the coast from Missirah. Despite challenges finding the boat launch and getting the pirogue to take us to the lodge, we had a good stay. The hostess, Kiki, was warm and inviting. “Great space! Very clean and very great location. Gabriel was incredibly helpful with getting us a guide for a tour, Charles, who was also great! Hotel staff was helpful in showing us places to go in the area to eat/explore. Staff very friendly and willing to help with solving any problems with transportation, etc that arrived during our stay. Amazing location and staff all around!”
