Check-in was a breeze! Communication with Darius was always quick and helpful. The entire cabin was well stocked, very thoughtfully planned, family oriented, and very pet friendly. We especially appreciated that the entrance to the cabin is only 2 small steps from the driveway and yard for those frequent outdoor puppy breaks.

Dog friendly!

This cabin is great for staying with dogs! Nice grassy yard to walk them and shady dead end street for walking dogs as well.

Graduation trip

There were 7 of us celebrating our son's graduation from college and our daughter's graduation from high school. The cabin was perfect! To be honest we spent 90% of our time on the back deck. It was so peaceful we lived eating all meals and just chatting the night away out there!

Vacation

The cabin was nice! The beds were pretty comfortable. The water pressure in the hall bathroom was lacking and the temperature definitely was as well. The fully stocked kitchen was not exactly what you’d expect as fully stocked. There were many things that a fully stocked kitchen should have that this did not. There was a dirty pan in the oven and the hand soap was the dish soap in the fully stocked kitchen. There was no hand soap in the hall bathroom and not enough toilet paper to last 7 days for the amount of people we had. The drive up to the cabin is interesting but not a deal breaker. Over all the experience was okay!

Very nice cabin in a very quiet area

We very much enjoyed our stay at this nice cabin. We enjoyed meals on the covered back deck, the seating in the back yard, to sitting on the nice comfy couches. A big plus for us was also the showers - great water pressure.

Extended TN Weekend Getaway

Perfect Getaway

The Sugar Shack was the perfect cabin for our family of 5. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely book again! The pool table and electronic game board was a huge hit with our kids.

The Perfect Getaway

We took a much needed family vacation and wanted somewhere quiet and homey. We got just that. The lights that lined the porch and outside area were so pretty. They had fun games for when we just wanted to stay indoors. I would definitely stay here again!

Great House & Host

House is as listed. It's clean & perfectly furnished! I typically do not rent homes that allow pets due to allergies, but accidentally rented this one. I will say, you would never know pets were allowed expect for the kennel & dog bowls. No smell or hair! The host was very attentive & responsive. Exactly what you want when you rent with VRBO. Would definitely rent again.

Great Place! Loved!

We came to celebrate our son’s first birthday and the family came too. I loved that we could bring our dogs as well, there was no weight limit either which was great. The pet fee was reasonable compared to some other listings I looked at, and I liked that they had two very large crates, along with the dividers, so we didn’t have to bring ours. Also pet bowls and mats/beds. I also liked that they had plenty of kids dishes and utensils. There was also a pack and play for the baby which was convenient. It made it nice to not have to roll ours from the bedroom to the living room. Everyone REALLY LOVED the game tables in the loft. We spent evenings and well into the night playing games and shooting pool! It was cold during our stay but we used the hot tub which was also great. The cabin had everything we needed, plenty of dishes, towels, etc., and the host was friendly and prompt in his replies. Also it was nice that we were able to check in a bit early considering we had our dogs with us, the host was very accommodating in that aspect and we appreciate. Just a note on the roads in -VERY curvy and hilly. Common in the mountains but just a warning (this is also noted in the listing). The place was very clean as well. Overall would definitely recommend. We really enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular Sugar Shack!

This stay was a family get away. All parties aged 17 and up. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive with the questions I had before during and after the stay. We saw bears just behind the cabin. There was plenty of room for our small dogs and a great area to walk them. So many options for games and fun with the family.Highly recommend!!

Super clean cabin and very comfy

Overall this day was very nice. It was probably one of the cleanest cabins that we have ever stayed in. Inside and out. Our only complaint was that we could not turn on the fireplace for whatever reason. Hopefully the owner was able to get that fixed for the next guest. The hot tub was great and functioning well. Overall, very happy..

Anniversary trip

This cabin is so cozy and cute. We absolutely loved our stay here. The only downfall about this property is the beds in the master and guest room are so uncomfortable. If there was one complaint about this place that would be it. They are rock hard. We contemplated going and buying a mattress topper but just toughed it out. Other than that this property is 10/10 and would definitely go back.

Overall Very Nice Cabin For Family Of 4

Our family extremely enjoyed our week long stay at this cabin. Our family has been coming to the Smokey’s for 16 years since my wife and I first visited on our 1 year anniversary. Overall this is one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. This cabin truly has it all when it comes to a family with children. We would highly recommend this cabin!!!! Cox Family
