“The accommodation is very peaceful at the end of a step private drive and could not have asked for a nicer place to stay had everything we needed. Walk into the village is up and down a steep hill, but that is what you expect from these lovely seaside places. The village has everything you need and some great places to eat, would highly recommend this place.”

“Had the most incredible stay once we arrived at the house. So stunning with endless views, fantastic rooms, the most comfortable bedding and everything was spotless. "Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter. Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness."
