Great beach, spacious house, NOT CLEAN. Will not book with a company "owner"again.
Nice beach, not crowded. Plenty of room for lg group. Hot tub worked (previous mention of issues). Property owned by lg company, VACSA. They will reply on VRBO but all else has to be done on their site/app. Typical lg co with unpersonal customer service giving pre-approved replies. Hassle to add pets. Took 30min in chat & email, with multiple parties, to add due to multiple quotes despite advertised fee. Check-In was hassle. Have to use their app, check-in info not on VRBO. Vacasa app not user friendly. First glance, house appeared clean. However, quickly found layers of dirt & grime under all furniture. Dirt sitting in master tub, bathroom rugs visibly dirty & splatter on kitchen blind above sink; hopefully just coffee. See attached photos. Photo behind the couch is baby wipes, not mine. Contacted co after found cockroach in game room. Told they're "water bugs". Also called palmetto bugs in Carolinas, are still cockroach & will infest house & lay millions of eggs. See attached pictures of bugs, conversation to draw own conclusion. Listing says linens provided. Each bed gets wash rag, face towel & body towel, no extra. Finally found 2 kitchen towels, still wet, in dryer. Kitchen has small "starter set" box of dishsoap, 1 garbage bag & couple other items. Would give 4 stars for location & beach. However, gave 2 for lack of good communication & house should be spotless for price. Visit Drop In Surf Shop 1mi away. Great prices on rentals, deliver & pick up &Surf City Boat Rental
