We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication with the host was great. She was very attentive to any of our questions. The welcome gifts were wonderful and a genuine surprise. Definitely more than I have experienced at any other property I have stayed out. There were many, many pros... size, pond, deck, closeness to restaurants and stores. The only con's I would mention were: getting out of the driveway is a bit tricky, since you are right on a curve in the road, and the road is fairly busy. Also, some of the air conditioning units are quite loud..especially the one in the master bedroom. But overall, we had a wonderful time.

We loved our stay with extended family (young children through grandparent!) at this home. It was a fantastic home base for exploring and had plenty of fun activities for all of the kids. We loved kayaking from the backyard, making s’mores and playing games.

Upon arrival we found a gift bag and lovely welcome note from the owners. Communication during our stay via the VRBO site was very good. This spacious home is in a great location close to many towns, and has a separate in-law suite on the first floor. This was very convenient for our older parents. All the cabinets are labeled in the updated and fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the large private deck. It was quiet in back, the yard was nice, and we enjoyed kayaking on Long Pond accessible from the back yard. There was adequate parking for 3 vehicles in the driveway; however, backing out could be a little tricky. There is additional parking in the plaza across street. As with many homes, some of the furniture is a little worn, especially the dining chairs, and the patio umbrellas were not working. Having the small fire table to make S'mores was a bonus. Our group of 9 adults had plenty of room indoors and out. There was enough hot water and the Wi-fi worked great.

Wonderful house at a beautiful lake

We have stayed the second time in this property now. It is located so beautifully and our kids can spend the whole day on the kayaks on the lake while we relaxe in the garden. Great stay! We will come back next year!

Great Family Thanksgiving Destination

We are a family of 11 (10 Adults and 1 child under 2). We need a lot of bedroom and bathroom space to accommodate our group and because we are gathering to prepare full thanksgiving meal we also need a kitchen with space. The many bedroom options and 2 kitchens worked great for us! House was clean and location was beautiful on the pond! We would stay again and found everything to be easy and no issues to report.

First time Cape Codders had a wonderful time

We passed up Block Island to try Cape Cod and had a great vacation. We are a multigenerational family who enjoy spending a summer vacation together. This home was beautiful! So clean and comfortable. We were very happy with our decision for this house and Cape Cod. Plenty to do even on a rainy day!

Great family property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful family vacation home. It was beautifully appointed and the host left a lovely Welcome Basket for us! our son-in-laws kayaked on the pond and one even fished from the kayak! The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had its own bath. There were two lounging areas on the first floor for our very large multigenerational group and multiple tvs throughout the house. We enjoyed the location because it allowed quick trips to the local beaches on the pond AND to Mayflower Beach. Our grandchildren also enjoyed playing at the school playground which is nearby. We also watched a Cape League game at the school complex which was lots of fun for all! We would highly recommend this home for family vacations!

Family reunion

A fun week of early morning kayaking or after beach in afternoon, spacious backyard for throwing and hitting balls and chasing bunnies. Firepit for making s’mores graciously supplied by hosts. Well stocked kitchen with pots and utensils etc. we had a fun week and hope to return.

Family Vacation!

Home provided great living space to gather for a group of 14. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking as well as with spices, etc. the deck and backyard was really nice, kids played wiffle ball. The kayaks also got a lot of use! Had an awesome week there.

Awesome getaway

We went with friends and all of us have children between 3 and 12. The house was just perfect for our group because we had enough space to be together, but also to have some privacy when we wanted to. The older kids just took the canoes and were on the lake fishing all day. It was so relaxing! We’ll definitely come back.
