“Great comms and lovely welcome from Luba and Chris for our two night stay. Easy to find and parking right next to the front door. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very peaceful with two spacious doubles, both with their own TV and modern en-suite facilities. Comfortable lounge with wood burner, TV and jigsaw ready to go - all with lovely views over to Hardy's Monument. Ideal location for visiting the local area by car - we went to Weymouth (Catch! restaurant was fab), Dorchester, Poundbury,...

“This is a beautiful house, well equipped and was really suitable for our holiday with three generations of family. The pool was a big hit with the children in particular and the adults enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The beach at Weymouth together with all of the attractions are within easy reach. This was a very enjoyable week.”

“Great place to stay for Weymouth and Portland. This cottage is ideal for dog owners, dog food bowls and treats there ready for your 4 legged friends. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very clean. The welcome pack was great, with tea, coffee and a pint of fresh milk in the fridge. There was a Tassimo coffee machine with pods provided. There was also ice ready in the freezer for pre dinner cocktails Loved the trolley with all you needed for the beach( 5 min walk to Smallmouth Beach) ....

“We stayed from Weds to Sun. of half term week. Adult daughter's birthday at Monkey World (fabulous) and we had a lovely comfy time having lunches out (Swanage, Corfe Castle, Studland, Lulworth) and back to relax in the evenings. Well equipped, 3 loos and with all drawers full of things! Owner promptly answered our queries. Car required to make the most of the location.”

“Smedmore is the most incredible house and it is a joy to spend time there in the garden cottage. We had four fantastic days there running around and exploring the area. The children loved it - it is so peaceful and you feel as if you've come to a real haven. The team who run Smedmore are friendly, kind and very responsive. We would go back and back.”
