When checking in around 3:45 pm,I asked for a higher floor room and front desk associate said rooms were not cleaned yet on higher floors. Then when I got room 205 & she said it’s on main floor.. we walked to the room & it is across the pool. Immediately came out to ask if we can wait til a higher floor room gets cleaned ..her answer was…. she cannot change anything and made it sound like Expedia is the worst third party to book from. Her words were ‘ can’t change assigned room when booked through Expedia .. they ( meaning Expedia ) are bad that way and Expedia is more expensive than booking through Oxford Suites. Around 4 am we had in our room heavy water dripping from bathroom light & cannot sit on toilet without getting wet on the head. Told them but had to wait for manager to get in @ 7 am. We were not changed to a different room until around noon & room was not even ready when we got upstairs, manager called me to say room was ready. Very poor customer service overall nor willing to make customer happy. The hotel is not very clean, water backs up when showering & weirdest washroom set up.. sink to wash hands is outside of the washroom & so tight you can’t change in there after a shower. During our 2 night stay, we had a leak in the bathroom from room upstairs, water not draining from shower, no lotion, no conditioner & a soaked Kleenex box ( wet Kleenex came out when I put hand in to get one). Overall poor experience for our 2 night stay.
