“What a perfect time of the year to visit! The fall colors were stunning! The house was just right for our family of 9 adults and 3 kids -- there was plenty of space and fun things to do. We had a great time.”

“The place was amazing and clean. The view from the patio is just like the photos. One thing we had to get used to was no curtains on any of the windows. Also I was super excited for the patio couch set that’s in the photo but it wasn’t there when we arrived unfortunately. BUT everything was so beautiful and amazing we didn’t mind. ”

“Just wrapped up a great stay at Snow Dog Lodge in Beech Mountain. The house is spacious, modern, and full of thoughtful details that made our trip really comfortable. With six sleeping areas and plenty of room to spread out, it was a great setup for a group getaway. The updated kitchen and big farmhouse table made mealtime easy, and the sunset views from the patio and especially the hot tub were a highlight.The game room and separate studio apartment were big bonuses. “Great spot in the heart of Beech Mountain town. Walking distance to Fred's, Brick Oven, and everything else worth doing in town. Just a 10-minute drive down the mountain to Banner Elk. And the barbecue downstairs from the unit is worth giving a try. to”

“We stayed at King Wolf for the final two days of a week-long service trip with high school students. It was perfect. The bunk-house setup was ideal, and we loved the open space and deck. We used the fire pit, and walked across the street to get amazing pizza. Everything was ideal, and communication with the owner was so easy. This is the perfect place for a large group. We will be back!”

“The house was great for our group of 11. The number of beds and bathrooms allowed for everyone to be comfortable. The rec space was enjoyable and the large living room allowed us to be together. ”

“Property was in a great location and house is nice, but the property was not very clean when we checked in. Dirty dishes in sink, fridge not cleaned out, dishes in the dishwasher. Linens were disgusting, hair on pillows and on sheets. Kind of ruined the whole stay.”
