“The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. “We were glad we rented a car to get around. You need to have reservations for dinner or you will not be able to eat. Lastly, make sure you ask for instructions on how to run the hot water on for showering, I figured it out, but it took a while. The house is beautiful and great for families with young kids, they have a play room for kids.”
