Encantadora como nueva casa de 3 habitaciones totalmente renovada disponible. Con una ubicación ideal, esta propiedad se encuentra a 3 km del distrito central de negocios, a 6 km de la hermosa playa de Townsville, a 5 minutos a pie del aeropuerto, no te decepcionará con el lugar. La casa tiene una cocina grande con aire acondicionado, un baño muy bien renovado y su propia ropa. El espacio también tiene un área de patio grande para el entretenimiento. También hay una parada de autobús justo al lado de la casa si se necesita transporte público.

Hay un apartamento tipo estudio en la planta baja que está completamente separado del piso de arriba y se alquila por separado. Ambas áreas se mantienen completamente separadas, por lo que hay privacidad completa para cada área.

Hay un solo bloqueo de estacionamiento en la calle disponible. Toallas y sábanas suministradas solo traen su maleta y está listo para irse.

Cosy but needs a little maintenance
Home was cosy and spacious. Very private and we loved how cold the aircons were and how comfortable the beds were. A large TV in the lounge was a huge hit for my kids. Also worth mentioning that we did not hear one plane during our 3 days stay considering the airport is close by. Just needs some maintenence as the refrigerator wasn't cold enough both fridge and freezer struggled. Toilet struggled to flush thus causing a clog. Separate to the maintenance i found it extremely difficult to get a hold of the owner or manager of the property on two occassions. Prior to booking and also via email to potentially extend our stay. It seems we were communicated by an automated email system. I would definitely stay again as this was convenient and a family orientated home.

Home with it all, close to airport
Would totally book this property again. Whilst being conveniently located close to the airport and on the main road to the airport, I found that at nights the sound of the traffic was next to none due to minimal or no flights. Kitchen well set up. Huge TV. Washing machine, but no dryer. Dried quick on clothesline. Garage for off street parking. Excellent communication from host before, during and after stay. Dolce Gusto coffee pod machine (bring your own pods). 6 min drive to Castletown Shopping Centre. Very easy drive to navigate to hospital/JCU about 10min.

Garbutt house review
The house is a short (5 to 10 mins) from The Strand and the city centre but is on the main road leading to the airport so there is quite a lot of traffic so at night it is best to keep doors and windows closed. One problem was that that 2 of the bedrooms had noisy air conditioners and the a/c in the main bedroom wouldn't cool. However the a/c in the living area was quiet and efficient. In the kitchen we noticed that the range hood didn't work and the oven door wouldn't close properly. We enjoyed our stay overall and weekly rate is not expensive but some appliances need replacing.

Weekend visit
We stayed for a weekend to visit friends and get a break from the wet in Brisbane. The house is simple and pleasant, but needs a little maintenance on the internal fixtures (bathroom door latch and AC in the bedrooms), but was a great base for our short time away.

Short Stay
We were very happy with our stay in the 3 bedroom home. there were 3 of us staying here so plenty of living space for us. The place is close to the airport but we could hardly hear the planes. In fact the whole area seemed very quiet so it really suited our requirements. The house is fully airconditioned but the box a/c units in the bedrooms get very noisy so had to shut them down in order to get a decent sleep. Overall we really enjoyed the comfortable stay and will look to stay here again when we go to Townsville.
