“I wish I knew the employees name, but upon arrival, I inquired about their complimentary cookies. The lady said they’re almost ready and a few minutes later, as I was sitting down in the lounge area, she had boxed up some cookies for me. I was truly impressed. The restaurant there had amazing service and food. This was a great getaway to celebrate my birthday. The room was great and I’ll be returning to hotel Effie!! I stumbled across this place from a TikTok someone posted.”

“I took my granddaughter to Destin for her 8th birthday. She wanted a hotel with a pool and breakfast. Hyatt Place did not disappoint. The hotel was super clean. The buffet was nice. Staff was friendly. The hotel is located near EVERYTHING! The only thing that didn't meet expectations were the beds. The mattresses were horrible. My 14 year old granddaughter was on the sofa bed and everytime she moved, every spring in it squeaked...terribly. Overall, this hotel is a keeper and we'd definitely stay……
