“Stayed here while we walked part of Hadrians wall. Ideal base. Beautiful barn conversation. The owners left us wine , biscuits and scones on arrival which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again ”

“The bungalow was as described very clean and had a lot of nice touches robes for shower tea biscuits coffee etc lots of room for storage and beautiful scenery open fire as well and Georgina was excellent with communication instructions would highly recommend ”

“Set in gorgeous surroundings, the field barn has everything you need for a rural retreat. It was always warm (something which we considered before booking it for our December stay) and we felt at home right away. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the oven worked well. Lots of opportunities to go on walks directly from the property too. We like to stay in beautiful places and this ticked that box! “Despite the wet and windy conditions we really enjoyed our stay and managed to get around to our favourite spots. Steve & Julie provided a lovely starter pack to see us over the first 24 hours. Cottage is superb, with all the amenities you would expect at home. Would recommend it as a base to tour the countryside.”
