“The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.”

“Number 11 is a lovely apartment in a beautiful historic building. Well maintained, very clean and well equipped. Located in a quiet area in Rothbury and only a few minutes walk to local café, Italian restaurant, pubs, convenience store and independent shops. It's also in a good location for visiting National Trust properties, riverside walking, Simonside hiking and the Northumbrian coast. “a reasonable property that is very well located for all amenities in this lovely town. the couch was a little low to the ground for us as we have problems with our knees ( old age catching up ) and carrying the luggage up the stairs made me breathless ( my fault as I should have checked this before booking ), but the flat was comfortable and we had an excellent time. Many thanks to Victoria for the prompt way she communicated with us when we had a small problem to resolve.”

“This property is as described. Our Family of 4 were comfortable and happy here. We have two children (8 and 3). Be aware there is a flight of stairs going straight up as soon as you open the front door. We were not bothered by it. The location is wonderful. Park your car right outside the door and walk straight into town. We would stay here again. ”

“I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...

“We loved our stay at the Milecastle Inn. Our little apartment was a perfect size for us, clean and well equipped. They even stocked it with snacks and breakfast items. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was cozy with good food. The most amazing part was that you can easily walk to Hadrian’s Wall from the Inn. It is also right next to the bus stop from Haltwhistle and the train station. Overall it made for a perfect vacation!”

“The flat was really lovely - well decorated and had lots of amenities. The kitchen was well equip if you wanted to cook, with a good seating area for 6 people. The beds were comfortable and lovely bedding. Access to the key was easy and location easy to find with free on street parking. The flat can be a tad noisy depending on who your neighbours are as the flat above is rented too. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.”

"I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in. At about 15:30 I had to check into ANOTHER hotel as I had meetings in Corbridge at 16:15. On returning to Hexham I noted the pub was open and I spoke to the manager about the issues I had. He apologised but claimed it wasn't his fault. If I make a booking and my money is taken I will expect that you are open and accept my check-in. You Sir accepted no responsibility and gave mealy-mouthed and pithy replies. You had no plan B and never replied to any of my phone calls. Weak and pathetic management. You should hand over management to professional business people. According to people I spoke with coming out of the Globe pub this isn't the first time this situation has happened. Get a grip."
