Trailsman Lodge

Trailsman Lodge

8/10 Good
"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hot continental breakfast and inground pool were very nice extras. The view is spectacular. Only downsides were it was a bit loud being right on Cabot Trail, the air conditioner was old and noisy, and the room had a very strong smell of cleaner the whole time we were there. Some of the deck furniture was in a bit of disrepair and could use updating. Overall a nice place to stay!"

"We booked 2 separate nights. Staff were excellent both at reception and in the restaurant. Views ans sunrises were amazing. Lots of on-site activities for families. First night was not the best. The restaurant food and service was excellent, however, the chairs were painfully uncomfortable. The room was dated, could have been cleaner, beds uncomfortable, coffeemaker broken. The experience the second night was the opposite- updated room, clean, comfortable beds, great in-room coffee, same spectacular views. We did not risk the restaurant seating the second night. Overall we would recommend staying here provided you got an updated room."
