"The beaches are nice. Good breakfast. Bar open until 1130. Rental vehicle company onsite. A few walkable options for food and entertainment. Good photo op destination. I like the pictures at check-in that gives you the history of Avila."

"LOVED the Rif! The staff was great…especially Aqil at the front desk area and the pool bartender Leafar (at the Mangrove pool). The housekeepers were also amazing! We really enjoyed having access to both the Rif and the Mangrove due to staying on the Rif side. The food was excellent at the Harbor, the buffet, and at the restaurants which required reservations. We rented a car from Smart Wheels which is conveniently located in the Mangrove lobby; it was a great experience. The location of the Rif is perfect for a stroll into town. This is a beautiful resort with beautiful people working there. Highly recommended the Rif!!! We will definitely be back!"

"The property was beautiful and I loved the tropical oasis feel! We loved having the beach club access so close as well as a short drive to Willemstad. My only complaints were the air conditioner couldn’t keep up with the heat, and the bathroom drains smelled bad. These were both minor issues; I would definitely stay here again! The beach bag was such a nice touch! We stayed in the bungalows."
