Our stay at the RIF was enjoyable. Our room and the rest of property was clean and ascetic pleasing. The entire staff was polite and made us feel welcoming during our entire stay. Restaurants and access to food and drinks were immense. Although the private beach was small we were able to enjoy the other beach from their sister hotel next door (literally a 2 minute walk). The vibe was great for October, relaxing and not too crowded. Exactly what my husband and I wanted. We will definitely come back for another visit!

This resort exceeded my expectations, the staff is super friendly and amenities are more than ample. Clean and well manicured surroundings, good quality food and beverages with lots of options. Wife and I really loved our stay. Amazing snorkeling. Food was okay. The Buffett for breakfast and dinner was actually really good, but making a reservation at one of the specialty restaurants was annoying and the food was sub par. Staff was friendly, but service getting a drink at times could be slow. AMAZING SNORKELING can be had right off the beach at the hotel. Prime location to be able to walk into downtown Willemstad. My wife said she would definitely come back and I agree.

We had a great stay at the Rif. We received a few extras for booking with Expedia which is always a welcome surprise. The staff was friendly. The bar service was great! The food was ok. It’s not a 5 star resort but we never left anywhere hungry or thirsty. Our room was clean and the bar well stocked. The hotel is within walking distance to town. We walked to town on Thursday night for the fireworks. We would stay at the Rif again.

The property is beautiful, and the food is amazing. I do Have two complaints the pool needs to stay open to at least 9pm. And the late-night food needs to be more than just nuggets and fried cheese ball. Other than that, it was almost the perfect spot to stay at.

Expedia stated restaurants were 24 hours no they were not staff took 1.5 to 2 hours to get food to us all reservations were sold out had to tell cleaning people daily to restock shampoos the food was not good

Wait time to get food in the Ala carte restaurants are unbearable. It took over 45 minutes to get burger and fries. Then another 30 minutes for a slice of cheese cake… we ended up leaving. Staff are very pleasant. The problem is in the kitchen

So many different beautiful things in one spot. Our family loved it...but...we were never able to get a reservation for a la carte dining even though we tried early...even went to the restaurant and it was half empty we were still refused.

It a very nice resort . The beach on site is perfect to swim. The food was ok. I said ok for the restaurants however the buffet was good, a lot of choices. The resort needs to do better with the staffs some of them are not smiling at all, they don’t look motivated. The entertainment was ok. I will recommend this resort not only because it is nice also it is walking distance to a few things to explore in Willemstad.

My experience at this resort was extremely disappointing. The food was just okay and had no variety at all for vegetarians. The service was unbelievably bad—staff were careless and unhelpful throughout my stay. On top of that, the housekeeping was unacceptable; they didn’t even clean the room properly, just replaced the towels and left everything else untouched. For a place that advertises itself as a quality resort, the standards were shockingly low. Definitely not worth the money or the time

Beautiful beachfront property that overlooks the cruise port. The food options were so good, especially at the buffet. We really enjoyed the turquoise waters at the beach and the pool was very relaxing. The only part missing from this hotel is a hot tub but it makes up with an aqua park

We stayed at the RIF for a few days for our anniversary trip. Starting with the good — this hotel is stunning and beautifully maintained. The food was honestly some of the best resort food I’ve had in a long while. It’s also conveniently located within walking distance of the floating market and several local attractions, which was a big plus. Now for the not-so-great parts… this place was so boring. I’ve never been to a resort that lacked energy and vibes like this one. It honestly felt more like a quiet retreat than a fun vacation spot. The crowd skewed older — mostly retirees and families with young kids — so I can see how that atmosphere might appeal to them, but if you’re looking for a lively, social scene, this isn’t it. It was also surprisingly difficult to get restaurant reservations due to their overly strict policies. One night we had to leave the resort entirely just to find dinner, and another night we only lucked out because the BBQ restaurant had a last-minute cancellation. Service could definitely improve — I requested a minibar restock for two days before it finally happened on the third, and calling the front desk was almost impossible (we got a busy signal most times). Also, a $15 room service fee felt excessive. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with great food if you can get in to eat, but beyond that, it lacks the fun, energy, and service level I’d expect from a resort at this price point.
