The location is somewhat in the middle between Cooperstown and Oneonta, which works well if you’re going to both cities. It was a scenic 18-minute drive from the Lakeside cottage to the All Star fields by Oneonta (I think it’s even closer to the other baseball complex by Cooperstown).The rustic cottage was perfect for our needs and was comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing. “We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!”

“The property was perfect for our needs. We were two families who had kids playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park, so we were off-property much of the time. However, when we were there, we were able to take care of all that the property had to offer (pond for fishing, grill for cooking dinner, open space for wiffle ball, etc.) in a relaxing, serene environment. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed prior to arriving and during our stay. Check in and out was a breeze. We'd gladly stay again...

“Great old farmhouse 5 minutes from Dreams Park. Very nicely remodeled. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. Bathrooms were remodeled tastefully with all the amenities and more that you could need. Brand new washer and dryer which turned out to be very useful. Nice private pool area with plenty of seating, Great place to relax at the end of a long day at Dreams Park. Had a nice outdoor grill, but we did not use. Overall fantastic house in a great location if your kid is playing...

Perfect for All Star Village - was so easy to just jump back to the house between games and fantastic to have a kitchen to cook instead of eating out all the time.
