“It was great”

“Of all the roadside accommodations, my wife and I have encountered, the Hampton Inn at Cooperstown was the best we ever encountered. The room was large and well appointed, and the be had a great mattress. The facility offered washers and dryers, a gym with a complete set of dumbbells ranging up to 75lb, a bench, a stationary cycle, and 3 treadmills. And the breakfast offered in the morning included eggs, sausage, and real Quaker Oats. My only complaint was the facility should have provided……

“Very nice hotel, breakfast was just bagels and cereal and it would’ve been nice to see the fire pit in use since the weather had been wonderful, but the staff was nice and the cleanliness of the hotel rooms was pretty good except the comforter on the bed had some spots on it but compared to some other local places we’ve stayed, this was the nicest!”

“Beautiful location right in the lake and 2 blocks from the Hall of Fame. We liked the covered outdoor chairs to look at the lake, as well as chairs to sit and have lunch by the marina. Sadly they had a big fire in late July shutting down the restaurant, but thankfully the hotel is still open. We will stay here again when we come back. Nice staff, clean rooms, warm shower!”
