The bed is great, but thats about it. The shower drain was slow, leaving scum to accumulate every day, the shower was luke warm, and mold/mildew lined the tub and ceiling. Also suspicious spots on the wall. The A/C also made the room smell like a basement. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Oh and they may advertise included breakfast, but thats a lie, they dont even have a restaurant.

Good Hotel comfortable room in a great area. Staff service was solid. Restaurant next door required reservations. I had to ibsist getting seated for brunch so arrange it.

We had an issue with the temperature in our room upon arrival. Maintenance could not resolve the problem until the next day and there were no rooms available to move. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating and also compensated us in multiple ways throughout our stay. Very pleased!

Everything was fine, room was clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We would have preferred our room being closer to the main hotel. Valet parking was very expensive— $52 per day plus a requested/expected tip.

This is a great option if you are wanting close proximity to River Street. There is plenty of restaurants and shops. This property does not have a pool or restaurant on site, they do have a bar on the property. I liked the managers reception on the week days starting at 5:30 pm until 7 pm. Which is free with your stay. There is parking available for a price. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff at the planters Inn was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and kind offering suggestions and great conversation. During the week they offer a happy hour with a piano player and we thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this.
Unfortunately, the age of this hotel and the lack of upkeep is really starting to show. The paint is peeling badly in the rooms, the bathroom ceiling, just everywhere in the room. Our bed was very uncomfortable and they’re in need of new towels badly. How
