The accomodation was okay, if very isolated. No daytime cafes, just a couple of restaurants that only open for lunch, sometimes dinner. The fridge in my room didn’t work, so I couldn’t bring in an improvised meal. Like one other reviewer, I felt like I wanted my money back! The grounds surrounding the château are stunning, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. We saw a hare and lots of birds, which made the setting even more special. The breakfast wasn't very extensive, but everything was delicious and of excellent quality.
