It is very old. Bathroom tile has been cracking and mold. I did not check when i booked a room as a smoking room so it had a very bad smell and could not sleep good because of the smell of smells. all my clothes smell like tabaco. The staff are very nice. I dont really speak Japanese and they dont really speak english but they tried very hard got the message through. I look forward to staying again if i come back to Himeji.😀
