Pen y Bryn Manor, Aber (originally known as Garth Celyn, Aber Garth Celyn). Parts of Ty Hir, the medieval house, the thirteenth century home of the two Llywelyns, still remain, converted into an Elizabethan manor house. The tower dates from c. 1200.

Staff were really helpful & friendly. Checking in went smoothly. The staff in the spa were also lovely. Room wasn't very clean, dirty hand prints on the shower doors, dirty walls in the toilet.
