“Lovely house. Beautiful view. Fabulous stay. We were 8 college dorm mates, graduated in 1976. Since we are all around 70 the bunk bed was not a good choice for us. Better suited to 4 adults & 4 children. Customer service was great and timely. Earlier and more information on the water would have been helpful. Some don't like the taste of the water. Overall we had a really wonderful stay.”

“This cabin is nestled high in the Jemez Mountains in a small neighborhood surrounded by national forest. The trails around the cabin are excellent whether you step out of the cabin for a hike or drive to one of the many trailheads along Highway 4. The area around the cabin was very quiet during my wife and I's weeklong stay. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation and the cabin was quite comfortable for sleeping and lounging after a long day of hiking. I would recommend it for people...

“This is our 3rd stay at “The Getaway.”It’s a wonderful place for all ages. If you need a break and place to reset from the daily grind this is the sanctuary to do so. We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river.
