"Perfect location right outside the Avignon City Central train station. The entry courtyard is stunning with a historic charm. While the room wasn’t ready until check-in time, I was happy to get access to the rooftop pool and wait with my sunglasses and book. My room was in the old section of the hotel - a simple, smaller room on the top floor with a comfortable bed. For those wondering, the air conditioning was more than enough to keep me cool during 90F days! It just takes a little while to cool the whole room - then I even turned it down. When I come back to Avignon, I’ll stay here again!"

"What a hotel. Long history with high luxury and many prominent guests. It is a quiret hotel where you can bee relaxed from day one. Marvelous breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant had closed during our stay, so we must come back another time."

"The location of this property can't be beat; less than 10 minutes one way is the train station, and less than 10 the other is the Palais des Papes. The room was small but clean, and the host was very kind and welcoming. The onky thing close to negative to add is that the curtain did not cover the entire window, but I'm an early riser, so it didn't bother me at all."

"A quieter village is a break from tourist crowds in Avignon. The property is a touch of old school Relais and Chateaux. Beautiful grounds for outdoor dining. Several other restaurants in Villeneuve-Les-Avignon village."

"The bed was very comfortable, and I had a view of the inner courtyard. The lift helped with my luggage, but inside there was still some steps. The hotel doesn’t have that extremely fresh feel, but it was definitely clean and comfortable. I’d stay again. "

"The hotel is more like a motel. Clean enough and has a breakfast room. Nothing special at all but for the price it was just what we needed. There was no small fridge in room which would be great to keep snacks and water cold and there was only one iron for the entire hotel. But the staff were accommodating, helpful and friendly. The location was near enough to Avignon and an easy drive to Nimes as well. Certain nearby restaurants gave a 10-15 % discount if you let them know you're staying at this hotel. The mall nearby with a grocery store was great to pick up cold water for the day since there was no fridge. It also had a great cafe-Paul's for delicious croissant and a cafe each morning- if not eating at the hotel. Overall for an economical option it was good. It was good as a place to just wash up and sleep and be gone adventuring for most of the day."

"Good stop for a one night stay on the way to Paris. Jean, the host, was really attentive and helpful. Very good breakfast for the value - croissants, baguette, cheeses, ham. It's in the country side so be prepared for strong smells at times 2 stars properly with unbearable price for Avignon area."
