Wondering Getaway

Everything was batter than expected. We had a great stay in a great vacation rental. The hosts were awesome and stayed in constant contact to make our stay very enjoyable. We highly recommend the hosts and the property. Thank you for a great stay.

Excellent cabin to stay in!

My wife loved the place. Especially the gas fireplace.. the view from the from porch was great..my wife accidentally left some things there after checkout and they were very helpful in getting them back to us. Luckily we were still in the area… will definitely stay with them again

Cozy and clean, I was worried about bads comfort because we had bad experience last year with other property (roads and uncomfortable beds make you very tired) Thank you for caring about your guests we had a great time!

Great Cabin Beautiful Views!

This cabin was adorable and clean. The location was close enough to the water and docks to fish. From the large covered deck you could see mountains and the Lake. It was nice to go out to see the sunrise in the mornings. Would stay again!

Rocky Roads

The cabin itself is all we expected except for a few things - we specifically wanted 2 bathrooms but unfortunately we only had 1 shower in the house. We didn’t realize that the master didn’t have a shower along with tub so that was very inconvenient. Also we had dogs and the driveway and road were all Rocks and steep inclines. Absolutely no where to walk our dogs so we had to resort To taking them to dog parks.

Family Reunion

The Bear's Dean was a wonderful place to meet our adult children in the mountains of North Carolina, soak in the lake and return to the luxurious comfort of this home. We will definitely return!

The Bears Den was ideal and a perfect get away close to the lake and beach.

we had a great time and the cabin was perfectly equip with everything we needed. close to the lake and beach, we will look forward to staying here again in the future. the place was ideal for families and my son loved the loft area upstairs perfect game room, his favorite was the chess table.

Family getaway

Me and my family had a great time at the bears den it rained both days while we were there still was able took go to some gift shops and cook out everything was clean beautiful and so relaxing the and the company is very responsive if you need them would definitely come back and I would highly recommend this place a home away from home Thank you guys for a wonderful time for me and my family.

Wonderful cabin with access drivable access to Lake Lure

The cabin was great, and suited our needs. There was plenty of cookware, bath towels, and space to relax. The covered front porch is large, and inviting; definitely the highlight of the cabin. The immediate surrounding area is under construction, and made for a less appealing experience when coming and going. We arrived at the cabin after dark, and the sparse outdoor lighting around the cabin made it difficult to determine if we were at the right cabin, and how to get inside. Reaching out to the property mgmt was easy and quick, even at that late hour. Overall we are very happy with our stay.

Clean, organized with great view & location

Highly recommend. We have rented many places but this was the cleanest and more organized place we have stayed. It was nearby many sites and had a fantastic view of Lake Lure.

Warm, inviting log cabin with peek-a-boo lake view

Loved the cabin and the view. The ramp was convenient and the front porch (and swing!) were fabulous. Gravel road was difficult when meeting oncoming cars. Slid down the gravel driveway and fell when taking trash to outdoor trash can. Fortunately not injured, but we decided to take trash with us for safety's sake. Otherwise, perfect!
