The Sea Star es un hermoso refugio escondido en el pueblo de Avon. El diseño es todo en un nivel, y es la mitad de un dúplex. Está situado en un canal con el porche trasero con vista al agua y está a solo unos pasos del muelle. El área común tiene un amplio techo de catedral e incluye una cocina de diseño abierto y un área de estar. Hay una chimenea de leña, un bar con fregadero y una cocina moderna totalmente equipada con una barra desayunadora en la isla con 10 sillas. A cada lado de la sala común hay dos dormitorios que se unen con un baño completo y un medio baño fuera de la sala de estar. Cada uno de los cuatro dormitorios tiene una puerta corrediza de vidrio en una de las dos cubiertas cubiertas.

Una PISCINA COMPARTIDA está a pasos de la cubierta delantera, y también la comparten las personas que se alojan en la unidad dúplex vecina (en su mayor parte es su piscina privada).

Perfect for our family!

This property and host accommodated us incredibly well. Everything was very relaxed and laid back and simple on one level. We were able to cook all of our meals at the house. The swing on the deck was my favorite. The available kayak was great to use in the canal, especially to go out to see the sunset. The dock provided fun for fishing and crabbing for our kids. We got to see many birds. It was very easy to drive over to the ocean and down to the grocery store. We loved our trip and hope to return to stay in this property again!

Fantastic location!

Avon - The Sea Star

Had a wonderful 2 weeks at The Sea Star. House was so comfortable and cozy, which was an extra bonus since weather did not always cooperate. House is very roomy and right on the canal. Owners are next door and so friendly and helpful - will stay again!!

Great!

We had a great time and would recommend this house to anyone. It was clean and comfortable and a perfect layout for entertaining. The beds were super comfortable, too. The hosts were friendly and always accessable and eager to make sure we were content. Hopefully the kayak with a hole has been pulled out of circulation as that was a heavy load to swim back to the dock with and we wouldn't wish that on any others. Overall we're so glad we stayed!

Great place for family vacation

Our family had a great time at the Sea Star! This place was spacious and clean. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the dock. The kids loved kayaking. It was the perfect vacation! We definitely plan on visiting again in the future!

Thanksgiving Sunrise

My niece and I loved this place. Very beautiful and clean. Started every day sitting on the deck with my coffee to watch the sun come up. Well stocked with all necessities and more. Loved sitting in front of the fireplace every evening curled up on the comfortable couch. Everything exactly as stated and shown in photos. Christo and Melissa are great hosts. Lots of grounds to walk our puppy. The pool was located directly next to the steps to the entrance although we didn't use it because it was rainy and cold most of our stay. Right outside is the canal where you can kayak or paddle board. Easy access to beach, bay, seafood, coffee and shopping. Good location to explore other communities in the Outer Banks. Would highly recommend.

Perfect tucked away hideout

Our stay at the sea star was beyond great and exceeded our expectations. The house was roomy, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Being along the canal, we could sit on the back deck (in the rocking chairs or porch swing) and watch boaters and kayakers float by. There was also a kayak and paddle board for our use. Lessons were available, although we did not take part. The pool was lovely to sit in and watch the sunset each night. Would absolutely recommend and stay again :)

Off the grid

Great location for bay access and walk to beach. Avon is a great town to relax in. No traffic and all the stores you need nearby. Great seafood/key lime pie near Fire Station. Food Lion well stocked with everything. No crowds at beach ever. The condo was great as the pool was semi-private and all the kids could hope for. We rented bikes for the week. Great way to get out and around. Owners available for any questions/needs. Perfect location for privacy and still have access to everything. Enjoy.

It was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We would highly recommend this property. The pool was very nice and the house was well equipped and comfortable. Also, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely book again.

Great house and location

The house was exactly as pictured, and had plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 young kids. The pool was especially appreciated by the kids, and the included kayak and paddle board were fun for everyone. The house was clean, and in a great location close to everything in Avon but not on the busy roads. Thank you!

Sweet little tucked away stay

My family and I had an amazing time. The owners lived right on the property, so anything we needed they were right there for. We loved how tucked away the property was. You are right on the canal, which is absolutely beautiful and a short 4 minute drive to the beach. We will definitely return in the future. Thanks Christo and Melissa for being such great host.

Fabulous!!

We met up with some long time friends and their kids over Thanksgiving and had a great time! The place was roomy, comfortable, and clean. We loved standing on the balcony overlooking the water even though it was chilly and windy!! We visited the NC Aquarium and the Lost Colony Museum/Park. Much to the husbands' delight (not!), we spend some time a vey impressive art gallery in Avon. As we were packing up to leave, one of the kids saw a bunch of little jellyfish in the water. Way cool!!

BEST RENTAL EVER!

We had such an amazing time here. We came to celebrate a couple friends birthday and we had the best time. The house was super clean and everything was up to date. The pool was clean. The owners were super nice and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very welcoming. We are already thinking about planning another trip there. Everything was perfect

Loved This Place!!

I loved the design of this place and it was room enough for the 10 persons that were staying in the unit. The 4 bedrooms were all about the same size. There were 2 bedrooms on each side of the public areas with a Jack and Jill bathroom between them. Each bedroom also had a sliding glass door to an outside deck. The front rooms didn't have a great view but was nice to have the sliding doors. The kitchen was awesome! The island had 10 chairs where all of us could sit down together to eat and have room enough for the food to be in the middle of the island. The rear deck was nice because it had a view of the calming water. The location was off the beaten path so if your goal is to chill out and relax this is the place to do it.

Simple place all one level off the main drag.

Very good access to restaurants and shops. Not too far from beach access. Nice pool very clean. Had lots of rain the week before so some road flooding but not anything they could control. Very quiet. Comfortable beds. Friendly hosts.

The house itself was very nice, but wasn't pleased with the location

There were several issues with the house, the main one was we couldn't lock the doors when we left because they said they didn't have keys! The house was located on the canal & the skeeters eat you up after dusk! Also the WIFI was terrible, there was no way to watch more than 1 TV at a time & that's a problem when you have small children. Just a few upgrades would make this home a great get away!

We had a great time at the Sea Star. The property is walking distance to the ocean and many stores, restaurants. The rooms, the kitchen and the bathrooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Overall, we had a great trip and would love to come back to try their kiteboarding services. One of us left their phone in the house and Melissa and Christo were very helpful! They found the phone and shipped it to us free of charge. Thank you again!
