Standout staff included Francisco at the poolside bar, Alina, Martin, and Raul from Peninsula, as well as Salvador and Neftali from La Mexicana. This was my second visit, and i will definitely be back."

"Wonderful gem close to downtown activities and shopping. It was about a 15 minute walk to the marina and the heart of downtown. Staff were very attentive and friendly especially Leylani who did all the activities by the pool. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and well kept. All amenities except the pool at the Grand Solmar next door can be used by Solmar guests. Be aware that the beach here is not swimmable due to extremely strong waves and a sharp drop-off but is great to stroll on and watch the waves."
