"A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "Stunning hotel in an amazing location! So easy to get over to the “Porto” side but also great location for accessing the cellars and park etc of Gaia. The hotel is spotless, very well thought out and considered and has good amenities. The breakfast is worth paying for! The views are great, staff very friendly and we would not hesitate to come back. The only criticism is that it would be good to have access to a coffee machine in room/ in a shared area as I feel other hotels at a similar price point offer this and we did miss this in our stay but that’s a very minor point! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay"
