Room at the pub

Lovely room with Fridge and microwave. Pub not open on Mondays and shuts at 10pm on Tue & Wed.

We stayed at the pub because we were attending a birthday party in the village. Check in was excellent and they speeded up the cleaning process so we could get in the room early - very grateful thank you. We didn`t use the pub at all and the studio is in a separate block close by so we were not affected by any pub noise. The studio is first class and if this is your budget and your location, this is the place for you. Large, spacious, clean, everything you need in the bathroom plus fridge and micro if you need one. Very comfortable and I would recommend the Clanfield Arms without hesitation. What else do you need beyond a comfy bed, a shower and a kettle with tea and coffee?

Clanfield tavern

For a apartment it was well furnished and kept, milk n the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. Local amenities for dinner and breakfast were plentiful

Quaint. Historic Room, Not Cleaned Very Well

Cons: Half used bar of soap left in shower, spider webs, kettle left with old water stting in it. Pro: Cookies and croissants placed in room for breakfast. Very cool historic room with open beams, albeit VERY low beams that required ducking to get into restroom.

Perfect for nighthold - food not satisfactory

Very nice check-in - room very spacious and comfortable - kitchen/food needs serious improvement, hot food simply below minumum expectations - however restaurant service (Corinne) was excellent - proper breakfast not available and SORELY missed - two croixants from previous day not satisfactory -

Lovely

Pleasant self contained flat. Better furnished than most hotel stays. Nothing to do in the area however
