They date from the 6th century BC and were neatly divided into two tombs. Shortly afterwards, during a journey through the White Desert, I was given the exceptional opportunity to descend with an Egyptian friend in one of the tombs. There I found this untouched sarcophagus of a mother with the mummy of her child on top of her.
