Perfect condo with awesome view

Wonderful condo. Great place to relax. Amazing view. Very clean and had everything we needed. Will hopefully book again on my next trip to Bethany.

Mixed feelings

The view was spectacular and (when in effect) the assigned parking spot couldn't be more convenient. But if you expect to cook, even basic stuff like scrambled eggs, look elsewhere. Pans were virtually unusable and 1 was filthy, as was the toaster oven. Drawers were a jumble of "stuff". And when they say "coffee pot", they mean a 5 cup very basic unit.

Nice view.

Nice little place for the weekend. Great view. Bathtub needs cleaned or replaced. dirty tub and jets. Bathroom ceiling tiles were not covering the ceiling.

Perfect place for our first family vacation!

We decided to come to Bethany Beach after a good friend recommended it to us. Found this rental and it turned out to be a great place for my husband, myself and our 2 year old son to stay. They had almost everything you could need in the condo (only thing missing was a hair dryer)! Fantastic view from balcony. One of the chairs on the balcony was broken so we could only use one chair and the lounger. Quick walk to beach and other amenities. Would absolutely rent this one again!

Beach Trip!

Would recommend to others!

SHORT TAKE: we checked -in as skeptics but were recommending this rental before check-out. LONG TAKE: never liked the mid-atlantic's high-rise, high-density beaches, always worry about bed bugs & cleanliness in hotels, and thought we would hate Sea Colony. This rental CHANGED MY MIND. It was exactly as pictured. so clean I forgot to do my standard mattress/pillow/furniture bedbug check! this is an older development, so it's not brand-new by any means, but unit was spotlessly clean, obviously loved, and well maintained. on the top floor so ceilings were high and it felt airy. they had set-out linens for the pullout couch, and there were 3-4 extra blankets in the closet. check in was easy. have a couple suggestions for improvement, but nothing the unit owner has control over! 1) bc of covid, and bc it was unclear if each unit in building has it's own HVAC unit, we picked this one because it appeared to have a full wall of sliding glass doors in front of the balcony for air flow. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 6 glass panels slid open, so there was little to no airflow. not a dealbreaker, but wish we had known. 2) VACASA! you forgot to leave extra garbage bags! one or two in bottom of trash can would have been helpful. 3) and finally, VACASA needs to do a better job communicating about the property usage fee. we were happy to pay it, but between VRBO, VACASA, and all their communications, we had no idea if there would be a charge (bc of covid and off season) what the charge would be, or what we could use it for until the day we arrived. Again, unit owner can't control any of that, and from a fussy, finicky traveler who hates staying anywhere, this was a really good choice and we will totally rent it again! well done!

Perfect weekend getaway

Stayed for my husband's birthday and my son's first trip to the beach. Perfect location, beautiful view and easy walk out to the beach. Will definetly be back. FYI welcome letter states that you gave an assigned parking spot but someone was in our spot when we arrived. Sign in the elevator noted that parking spots were first come first serve. Was not an issue as place was not crowded but would have been good to know ahead of time

Repeat renter

Second trip back for a weekend in the Fall. Perfect location to soak in the last few nice weekends before the cold weather arrives. The sunny balcony overlooking the waves is my favorite spot.

Perfect birthday weekend

Perfect location for my husband's birthday weekend. Direct ocean front, plenty of shops/restaurants within walking distance, covered reserved parking plus 1 extra parking pass and a living room that has been newly update -- the website pictures need to be changed. The beach chairs in the bedroom closet were a nice added touch. Once the kitchen is updated, this top floor condo will be amazing.

Terrible customer service

The AC unit was blowing hot air. Each day we were told the issue was fixed and that the air was so warm because we were on the top floor. It was unbearable to be inside the condo. I had to actually tell them exactly how to fix it, which was a simple freon charge. After calling every single day and suffering, the air was finally fixed on the very last day. We received minimal compensation and I'm not sure we'll be staying with ResortQuest/Sea Colony again!

Exceptional beach vacation home!

First of all, the check-in process went very smoothly. The office had all our materials ready to go. Our assigned parking spot was perfect- right beside the elevator for easy access. The apartment was spotless, and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable, and the pull-out sofa worked great. The place was very quiet. I loved going to sleep every night with the sound of the ocean ! The apartment can get a little warm, since its up on the 9th floor. Overall, the stay was amazing. The place is within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
