"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

Very spacious, very comfortable, beautiful views, huge garden for children to play, well equipped (we couldn't use some things due to Covid restrictions, but we could see what was there). Check in was easy, communication with the owner was good. Very suitable for 2 families to share, as second floor rooms share a bathroom and first floor rooms both have ensuite. We really enjoyed our stay here!"

The only downside is the very narrow road leading to it; unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it... but...

"We had a comfortable stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good cookes English breakfast and other options available to order, providing a great start to the day. We also had dinner and it was very good and reasonably priced. As the property is an older building, some noise transfer is to be expected. Sound carries along the corridors, and the timber floors do creak in places. If you are a light sleeper, be mindful. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money."

"Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus."
