“We loved staying here!! It was me, my husband, our friends who are a couple, and our small dog. The home & property are beautiful. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully stocked, there were games & records to play. Loved watching the fireflies in the backyard. As Judy mentions, it’s well water, so there’s a sulfur smell/taste. We’re used to that so it wasn’t an issue, especially with the brita filter. If you have a dog who’s used to walking, just a heads up that there aren’t sidewalks. The yard...

“This cabin is well lit, insulated, plenty of natural light, heated tile floors, comfortable bedding, extra sleeping arrangements, hot tub was clean, hot, and ready, the fire pit and grill were awesome to have, the hosts were super friendly, and last but not least, the location is perfect. “We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area.”

“This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!”
