Would Live Here Permanently

One of our favorite houses to date! No fear necessary that house is near parking lots, public services, and street because you are so close to the beauty of Boothbay!We loved the short walk to downtown stores, restaurants, boardwalk and footbridges.This cute house is not far from big grocery stores and other strip malls. Nice roads lead into town, and it was helpful to receive text updates from the company on check in and on property.Inside, house had a very good energy! It was quiet, clean, and organized- even with welcome notes. There is such a great history to the house, which now has many updates. We loved the beds, the flow between rooms, and the details like the mud sink, red appliances and decor: tiny mice, luggage chests, and framed maps.Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful old home that has been remodeled. Location was absolutely perfect! Everything was within a few minutes walking time. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Boothbay Harbor

The home had the charm of a 100 plus year old property with nicely done updating to make it very comfortable. It was very convenient to walk to the shops, restaurants, and waterfront in Boothbay Harbor.

Great Rental!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Buoy house in late September/early October. The house comfortably slept 6 (including 2 children), and was conveniently walkable to the wharf area and plenty of fun attractions. The house is recently renovated (very nicely) while still maintaining some original charm. We had a great time and would recommend it to others!

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our stay very much but communication with the management was a problem. Luckily we resolved a safety concern on our own, after zero response from Vacasa, and enjoyed this beautiful property for the rest of our stay. The house is old, but clean and bright and has everything you need for a great stay. Great location as well!

Convenience and Coziness

Excellent place to stay and close to everything within walking distance. Try the Vietnamese Restaurant that is also a bakery called Baker's Way and the Lobster Bake on Cabbage Island. Such fun!

Bouy house

We had a great stay. The house was very nice. My only complaint was the sump pump ran the entire week and it was right by the living room. Very noisy. Other than that it was a great week

BBH family vacay!!

We stayed 2 nights at this charming old house in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, on a long 17 day trip to New England. The house had everything we need, a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and was a short distance to the heart of the harbor. Some things other may want to consider when booking is there is only 1 TV, the bed mattress are on the firmer end, and the floor are very unlevel. None of which we had a problem with but some travelers may not prefer. Overall we loved this stay!!

Oh YES!

What a delight! It is such a pleasure to walk into a house and become aware that someone has spent a lot of time thinking and caring about design! We loved the art on the walls and the updating done in the house. This is indeed an old house (we live in one as well) but oh so comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and there was no, "Gee, I wish they had THIS or I wish they had told us THAT before we checked in." One couldn't ask for a more convenient location. It is a slow 5 minute stroll down the hill to shops and restaurants. Even though it is located in town, it was also easy to hop in the car and get exploring other parts of the whole Boothbay area. We would have no hesitation staying here again and hope to do so!

Charming home

This lovely home was spotlessly clean,charmingly decorated and very comfortable. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home rather than a rental property. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet even though it is located just a short distance from shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

Even Better than We Imagined....

This gem of a house is appointed with the most beautiful details. It is immaculate, well organized, and perfect for a family (or couple) looking to get away to enjoy the best that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. We LOVED the central location. Our children simply walked into town on their own for fudge and ice cream and other delights. We enjoyed everything about our stay, and will return as soon as we can. What a special memory maker 21 Howard is going to be for all the future families who turn this little house's key!
