“Loved this accomodation. Everything is spotless! Gorgeous location and the twinkling fairy lights and campfires created such a gorgeous atmosphere at nighttime. Wish I didn’t have to rush off early, but will be back! Thank you to Billy and the team. Highly recommend.”

“The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful. The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time.”

“The house is great. Hastings is one of England's hidden gems.”

“The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. However, it was dirty in areas, like the crockery all had to be washed before use, blinds were dirty and dusty, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and dog hair around. Not……

“Heel leuk huisje met alles er op en eraan! Super lekker bed en geweldige douche. Op goede locatie, vlakbij Rye, en het strand. Wel even moeten zoeken want huisje ligt aan redelijk drukke weg en Google geeft een andere plek aan op de weg. Dus we stonden in eerste instantie op verkeerde plek. Absolute aanrader!”

“Absolutely brilliant stay. Apartment is brilliant and Nikki a superb host!”

“The property appeared fine at first glance but once I'd spent a little time there it became clear it was not properly clean. The sofa had something crusted to it. The wall above the bed had clearly visible dust balls sticking to it across the whole length (difficult to see in the photos, but obvious in person). The bedding had a funny smell in some places but not others. The floor was gritty so my feet were soon unclean again after a shower. All of this was particularly disappointing as I had……

“We loved our stay. The location is fantastic and for us with children being opposite the playground as well as such a short walk into town was great. Rye is just a lovely place and with Camber Sands and other lovely places to explore nearby you can’t go wrong with the location. The main living space is really well equipped with loads of kitchen stuff, sharp knives, comfy sofas and a great selection of books and games. The beds are comfortable and shower is a good pressure. We’d definitely……

“The property and garden are perfect if you have a dog. If you don’t , its clean and not at all doggy! We’ve visited several times and love it. Good proximity to an unspoiled beach and Rye nature reserve.”
